BMW’s with ladders protruding from sunroofs. Walking mothers with young children in hand. Fragmented transit systems. Coffee habits skyrocketing. Burrito trucks parade across every city block. 45 minutes from anything. Let’s convince minds to drive to Pomona, Hollywood was never really that glamorous. Out of state deposits called out by up-and-coming banking executives. Yes, I know I am a foreigner in this land. Thin Chinese men dressed in fitted dress shirts with loose vests elegantly smoking cigarettes in the shade. Drinking 12 oz. double lattes too fast for my body to cope. Win! Win! Win!
